Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months customer service or call center experience.
• Familiarity with medical or pharmacy terminology.

Responsibilities

• Manage the patient’s financial journey from start to finish, including benefits investigation, prior authorization support, and enrollment in financial assistance programs.
• Handle inbound and outbound communications with patients, prescriber offices, and third‑party providers to clarify medical and pharmacy coverage, benefits, and related inquiries.
• Resolve complex insurance rejections requiring follow‑up with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance payors.
• Manage the full authorization process, including prior authorizations, appeals, and medical tier exceptions.
• Initiate, review, submit, track, and follow up on authorization requests to ensure timely processing.
• Coordinate enrollment in manufacturer‑sponsored assistance programs and other financial support resources.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and program sponsors.
• Ensure accurate documentation, timely processing, and efficient, courteous communication throughout the patient access process.
