Job summary

A-Line Staffing is hiring a Call Center / Customer Service Specialist 1 in Pittsburgh, PA 15275 for a temporary assignment with potential to extend or convert based on performance.

The role is onsite, focusing on outbound patient calls about prescription refills, insurance coverage, and medication access. Training starts November 16, 2026, with a 40-hour workweek and shifts 8:00 AM–8:00 PM. Background check and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Approximately 6 months to 1 year of customer service or call center experience; 0–2 years encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with medical and/or pharmacy terminology.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple applications.
• Ability to work onsite at 120 Enterprise Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15275.
• Availability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, with shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to patients regarding prescription refills and medication access.
• Handle inbound and outbound communications with patients, prescribers, and third-party representatives.
• Review and clarify insurance coverage and benefits.
• Support investigations and prior authorization processes.
• Submit and track authorization requests and assist with appeals and complex insurance rejections.
• Help patients enroll in financial assistance programs and affordability resources.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data entry in company systems.
