Qualifications

• Completion of high school or GED.
• At least one year of full-time receptionist experience or customer service in a community-based setting.
• Ability to provide sensitive and respectful care to diverse individuals.
• Ability to work with computers and data entry; typing 35 wpm preferred.
• Reliable transportation to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients/visitors in person, on the phone, or via text.
• Register patients in the Electronic Health Record and collect data accurately.
• Schedule and manage appointments per clinic protocols.
• Verify insurance eligibility and update payor codes.
• Coordinate with care team to ensure access and continuity of care.
• Handle payments, inquiries, and maintain clerical duties.
