Job summary

Humana Inc. CenterWell Senior Primary Care seeks a Front Office Healthcare Support professional to deliver a safe, accurate patient experience onsite from pre-arrival through checkout.

You will verify identities, collect co-pays, and ensure a smooth flow of patients through the clinic. You will manage pre-visit prep, digital intake, queue management, and post-visit outreach to reduce no-shows while maintaining PHI and cash handling integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience with front office patient intake and scheduling.
• Ability to verify insurance eligibility and data accuracy.
• Familiar with protected health information and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Visit Preparation: review schedules 24–48 hours ahead to identify missing docs and gaps.
• Digital-First Intake: assist patient check-in using digital tools and complete demographics/consents.
• Queue & Wait-Time Management: monitor EMR/task queues and communicate delays to patients and staff.
• Point-of-Service (POS) Collections: discuss financial responsibility and process payments with daily drawer reconciliation.
• Exit & Outreach: schedule follow-ups and manage outreach for no-shows or preventive care.
