Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Computer literacy required.
• 1-2 years of previous customer service/data entry/clerical experience.
• Health/public sector experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with/complete front desk operations and patient registration/check-out using Practice Management system.
• Greet patients and verify/input demographics.
• Collect and input licenses and insurance information.
• Collect and post co-payments and payments.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records and information.
• May perform charge entry.
• Complete referrals and prior authorizations as needed.
• Room patients when provider is ready and perform miscellaneous duties.
