Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of customer service experience required.
• 2+ years healthcare experience preferred.
• 2+ years experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Understanding of revenue cycle preferred.
• Proficient with an Electronic Medical Record system.

Responsibilities

• Always provide exceptional customer service by placing patients' needs first.
• Preregistration of patient charts prior to service.
• Insurance verification for eligibility.
• Collect copayments and patient balance payments professionally.
• Enter patient demographic and insurance information into the EMR.
• Check in patient efficiently and personally.
• Schedule appointments with patient convenience as a priority.
• Assist patients with wayfinding and paperwork as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and patient rights.
