Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide financial screening to scheduled, admitted inpatient and discharged patients.
• Confirm patient insurance eligibility and provide benefits review.
• Review benefits to ensure understanding of coverage for services.
• Use cost estimate tools to communicate estimated costs to patients and others affected.
• Post payments and assist in creating payment plans for services and balances.
• Coordinate and complete financial assistance applications for charity care.
