Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, registration, insurance, billing, collections, and customer service in hospital or physician office setting.
• Completion of 1100+ related Career Tech program or one year of college coursework in lieu of experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient access transactions including eligibility verification and insurance checks.
• Provide financial counseling, screen for government programs, discuss payment options and collect patient payments.
• Respond to patient inquiries and maintain accurate documentation of account activity.
