Piedmont Healthcare Corporate is seeking a patient access support professional to assist the Patient Access Department. You will verify insurance, ensure demographic and clinical data are up to date, and calculate patient financial responsibility while presenting options and collecting payments.

Responsibilities include obtaining patient consent and ensuring acknowledgments on required forms. Prior revenue cycle experience and Epic familiarity are preferred, with GED or high school diploma

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle or related clerical accounting/finance/retail/customer service required.
• 3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred.
• Prior Epic experience preferred.
• Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association preferred or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as patient facing support for the Patient Access Department within Piedmont Healthcare.
• Ensure patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographic/clinical data.
• Calculate patient financial responsibility, present patient financial options/requirements and process patient payments.
• Secure patient consent and acknowledgement on required forms/notices.
