Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in Columbus, GA is hiring a Patient Access Associate to serve the patient-facing side of the department. You will verify insurance coverage, confirm patient demographics, and calculate financial responsibility while presenting payment options.

You will collect payments, secure consent on forms, and help patients understand notices. A GED and 1 year in healthcare revenue cycle or related fields are required, with Epic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in healthcare Revenue Cycle, clinical role, or related clerical accounting/finance/retail/customer service required.
• 3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred.
• Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred.
• Prior Epic experience preferred.
