Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in customer service, financial, business or healthcare setting required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4 pm work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex registration, authorization, financial clearance for highly complex or high dollar services.
• Build relationships with staff and physicians to remove denials or slow patient service.
• Verify benefits, obtain authorizations, and collect co-pays/deductibles as applicable.
• Input patient/guarantor demographic and financial information accurately.
• Explain necessary forms and obtain signatures from patient/guarantor.
• Cross-train to staff at multiple facilities including front desk, scheduling and billing offices.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and federal/state requirements.
