Job summary

Inspira Health in Bridgeton, NJ is seeking a Patient Access Registration Representative to deliver a comprehensive, patient-centered experience. You will register patients across ER, Outpatient, SDS and Admitting, verify demographic and insurance information, and explain hospital policies with empathy.

You must communicate clearly, handle insurance verification via HDX/Recondo, collect patient payments when due, and ensure accurate data entry in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a strong customer-service mindset.
• Experience in hospital or insurance registration is preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
• Typing 30–40 WPM and basic computer proficiency; knowledge of ICD-10/CPT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Register patients across ER, Outpatient, SDS and Admitting with accurate demographic information.
• Verify insurance in HDX and determine the patient’s financial responsibility via Recondo.
• Request and collect patient responsibility amount at the time of service using PatientCo.
• Explain registration documents and secure patient signatures.
• Communicate hospital policies and procedures clearly to patients and visitors.
