Job summary

Aspire Indiana Health, Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to be the first impression for patients and providers. You will coordinate patient flow from check-in to check-out and ensure complete records for billing, clinical and regulatory needs.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and healthcare front office experience, with proficiency in Google Suite and EHR systems. ASL skills are considered a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in healthcare highly preferred, medical front office experience highly preferred.
• Must have intermediate computer skills with Google Suite.
• Previous insurance billing experience highly preferred.
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to communicate in American Sign Language (ASL) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the patient flow from check-in to check-out.
• Ensure that all information is complete and accurate to establish and maintain a patient record required for financial, clinical, and regulatory purposes.
