Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a clinical or medical office setting.
• Must meet health clearances for healthcare environments.
• Experience with public medical assistance programs (Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, etc.).
• CAA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, register patients in the electronic system.
• Verify program eligibility and determine payment source.
• Hear and resolve patient complaints or escalate appropriately.
• Support revenue and patient satisfaction targets.
• Answer calls and route to the correct department.
• Retrieve and enter data into medical records.
• Assist patients with forms and paperwork.
• Inventory stock and verify receipt of supplies.
• Participate in huddles, staff meetings, and trainings.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies.
