Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors and customers with friendliness and assist their needs. Maintain calm under pressure.
• Register patients and check in hospital outpatient visits.
• Identify patients needing immediate care and coordinate triage with staff.
• Enter accurate demographic, insurance and billing information in EPIC.
• Collect co-pays and self-pay payments where applicable.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer and complete end-of-shift reconciliation.
• Provide directions and escort patients within the facility.
• Assist other departments and respond to inquiries promptly.
