Baptist Health is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator for the Benton, KY primary care office. The role handles patient scheduling, greeting and registering patients, verifying insurance and demographics, collecting payments, and logging communications with providers.

The position includes clerical support such as typing, mail handling, faxes, and supply ordering. Typically Monday through Friday, with a focus on accurate data entry, timely deposits, and strong patient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer skills required for daily tasks and records.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred for accurate record keeping.
• Prior medical office experience preferred to support front-desk duties.

Responsabilités

Greets and registers and checks in or out all patients. Verifies demographic and insurance coverage information and enters into appropriate system/patient record. Collects co-pays and other payments and prepares daily deposit & reconciliation report. Receives and accurately and timely relays all phone messages to and from providers and logs them appropriately. Also provides clerical/secretarial support to the office as needed by typing correspondence and reports, sorting and delivering mail, processing incoming and outgoing faxes and ordering and maintaining supplies. **Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures/Certifications/Registrations Required:**A.
