Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Indiana is seeking a part-time administrative specialist to support ambulatory care operations.

You will perform clerical, reception, scheduling and patient financial account functions, coordinating primary health care services for a large outpatient population. This role comes with tuition reimbursement and benefits from day one, plus a supportive team and no mandatory overtime.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred; training in general medical office skills and procedures preferred; proficient in medical terminology preferred but not required.
• One to two years of experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred; experience may include cashier, basic account posting, billing, filing, reception, telephone, or computer operations.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical, reception, scheduling and patient financial account functions in the ambulatory care setting.
• Assists in coordinating primary health care services to a large outpatient client population.
