Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1 year of healthcare or patient access experience or insurance verification is relevant.
• Familiarity with medical insurance terminology is preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Partner with patients, providers, insurers, pharmacies, and manufacturers to ensure timely access to therapies.
• Complete benefit investigations and insurance verification for specialty and biologic referrals.
• Verify patient coverage and identify financial responsibilities.
• Coordinate copay assistance and manufacturer programs.
• Educate patients on coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and available assistance programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in company systems and track referrals.
• Escalate complex payer or coverage issues when appropriate.
