Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator for the Evening Shift in Chicago's western suburbs. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and manage POS payments while guiding payment options.

What you’ll do:

Under the guidance of the manager, the Patient Access Coordinator is expected to perform a higher level of generally more complex job specific responsibilities. They greet patients and family members in a professional and courteous manner. The Patient Access Coordinator obtains and verifies demographic, clinical, financial, and insurance information during the registration process, accepts point of service payments or provides guidance for payment options and clears the patient for service delivery. They act as the primary point of contact between the Patient Access Representatives and the Pt. Access Management Team.

Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm Weekend and Holiday coverage required

What you’ll need for this job

High School Diploma. Preferred: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education.

Minimum Experience: 1-2 years of previous job‑related experience preferred. Strong preference for prior experience in the healthcare industry performing registration, insurance verification, POS collection and excellent customer service. Bonus points for experience working in a leadership capacity. Preferred: EPIC Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook and Word

Compensation

Pay range: $18.16 hr. - $28.14 hr. Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
