Position Summary

Serenity is growing, and we're looking for a Patient Access Coordinator who is passionate about helping people and driving exceptional patient experiences. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with administrative/back desk experience to further develop their skills and improve people’s lives while doing so.

This is a role focused on optimizing provider schedules and handling communication with our patients. You’ll spend the day creating opportunities for patients to be seen sooner and helping retain patients who no longer have an appointment. In between your time scheduling, you will continue offering dedicated care to our patients by handling incoming messages and other requests so that their treatment can continue between appointments.

If you enjoy helping others, thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly to change, have an eye for detail, and the desire to overcome the roadblocks stopping people from getting the care they need, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Own
  • Spend approximately 5 hours each day maximizing the time utilized on our providers’ schedules. This includes being proactive and taking the initiative to contact patients when their appointments need to be adjusted, offering sooner availability to those on a waitlist, contacting patients who no longer have a follow-up appointment scheduled, and more.
  • Spend approximately 4-5 hours each day handling incoming referrals from other practices and incoming requests/messages from patients through platforms like our portal and email.
  • Educating patients on the importance of their treatment, what resources are available, and offering solutions to continue care based on their personal needs.
  • Assisting patients over the phone with scheduling.
Qualifications
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technology and software systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple workloads throughout the day while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to remain calm, solution-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and self-driven motivation.
  • Have the desire to learn, improve, and rise above expectations.
  • Mental health or healthcare experience is not required—we provide comprehensive training.
What's in It for You
  • Competitive pay
  • 90% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • 10 PTO days to start, increasing to 15 after one year, plus 10 paid holidays
  • Employee referral bonuses
  • Clear career growth opportunities into Supervisor, Clinical, and Operations roles
  • Ongoing development and professional coaching
