Job summary

Fairfax Behavioral Health in Lynnwood is seeking a Patient Access Representative for a full-time day shift (Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm) to support patient communications, front desk services, scheduling, medical records, admissions, and registration.

The role includes verifying insurance eligibility, offering financial counseling, collecting upfront payments, and ensuring regulatory compliance while collaborating with patients, payers, and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of administrative or customer service experience; 1 year in a health care setting preferred.
• Certifications: Verbal De-Escalation, Handle with Care, BLS and First Aid (provided during Fairfax new hire training).

Patient Access Representative: Full Time Day Shift (Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm) - Lynnwood location

The Patient Access Representative supports departmental operations and patient financial navigation activities. This role ensures efficient program operations by overseeing patient communications, front desk services, scheduling support, medical records management, admissions, and registration processes.

This role will include verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, providing financial counseling, facilitating upfront payment collection, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Working closely with patients, payers, and clinical staff, the position supports timely insurance authorization, accurate financial documentation, and access to coverage resources, including Medicaid enrollment assistance as a certified Medicaid Navigator.
