Job summary

Corewell Health Wyoming Care Center is hiring a Part-time Patient Access Concierge. You will greet patients, handle registration and check-in, schedule follow-ups, and support reception with basic clerical tasks. You will document calls in the EHR/EPIC and help maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: 1 year of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a concierge - greets and communicates with patients or visitors.
• Performs clerical functions, including answering practice phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, ordering supplies, generating patient letters, processing mail and deliveries, and preparing registration reports.
• Registers patients and checks in, confirms demographics and insurance, assists with self-registration and arrival, and schedules follow-ups.
• Maintains patient records per standards; uploads documents into EPIC; basic EMR/EHR scanning.
• Participates in safety initiatives and meets safety competencies and requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
