Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time concierge to assist patients, providers, and staff with accessing services, resolving issues, and navigating next steps. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, online chat, and email while delivering an exceptional experience aligned with our values and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support or related fields preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to assist diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients/visitors and act as a concierge.
• Perform registration and check-in, verify demographics and insurance, assist with self-registration.
• Schedule appointments using a decision tree; update and maintain records in the EMR/EHR.
• Document patient calls in the EMR/EHR system and assist with follow-up communications.
