Job summary

Santa Cruz Community Health is seeking a Call Center Supervisor to lead the patient access team in a full-time capacity at our Santa Cruz, CA administrative office. The role oversees scheduling, call handling, and access coordination while ensuring HIPAA compliance and outstanding patient service.

Qualifications

• Previous call center experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Supervisor and team leadership experience with coaching and performance management.
• Desire to serve the community clinic population with excellent health care.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Call Center team and ensure patient-centered service.
• Oversee daily operations, call handling and scheduling workflows.
• Develop and manage staff schedules including PTO and intra-day adjustments.
• Train staff and implement policies; collaborate with leadership to support patient flow.
• Monitor call center metrics and quality; ensure HIPAA compliance.
