Job summary

Santa Cruz Community Health in Santa Cruz, CA is seeking a full-time Call Center Agent to provide a positive, efficient patient experience. You will answer calls, schedule appointments, relay information to care teams, and respond to messages via the patient portal and WELL APP.

Ideal candidates have excellent customer service and communication skills, the ability to work some evenings and Saturday mornings, and prefer bilingual Spanish/English; English required. DOE pay range shown.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent patient/customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work some evenings and Saturday mornings.
• Experience or interest in health care preferred.
• Fluent bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient appointments appropriately according to scheduling and payor protocols.
• Gathers information and relays it to appropriate departments.
• Monitors provider schedules for errors or improvements.
• Acts as a patient liaison with other departments.
• Responds to department messages and manages portal communications.
• Uses EHR system efficiently and protects patient confidentiality.
