Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health records integrity by accurately inputting and retrieving information in the EMR system.
• Schedule appointments, complete pre-registration tasks, verify demographics and insurance information, and ensure accurate billing.
• Identify the need for clinical healthcare staff triage when necessary.
• Coordinate patient flow, ensuring HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with the patient care team, provide care coordination services, and contribute to Quality Improvement activities.
• Process prior authorizations, referrals, and provide specialist resource information.
• Track and log patient data accurately.
• Attend required meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
