Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Patient Service Representative for the Bown Crossing Family Medicine Clinic in Boise, ID. You will greet patients, check in, collect co-pays, answer calls, schedule appointments, and verify insurance eligibility in EPIC.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience required; healthcare experience preferred.
• Electronic health record (EHR) experience a plus.
• Medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients for appointments and collect co-pays.
• Answer telephones and take messages; schedule appointments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and update patient information in EPIC.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with Financial Assistance paperwork.
• Keep reception area neat and manage supplies.
