Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of related healthcare Revenue Cycle experience, preferably in a financial clearance setting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience operating PC and using software applications.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Call center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduling, preregistration, and financial clearance tasks.
• Validates patient demographics and insurance benefits.
• Communicates clearly with patients and providers about costs and authorizations.
• Collects payments and posts transactions in the system as needed.
• Maintains compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
