Job summary

MedMark Treatment Center is hiring a Patient Access Representative / Patient Account Representative to handle patient billing, verification of insurance, and third-party billing records. You will resolve payment issues, reconcile daily money, and maintain accurate account information in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The role requires 2–4 years in Medicaid/PAC and commercial insurance, strong customer service, and proficiency with Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with medical office experience.
• 2–4 years’ experience with Medicaid/PAC and commercial insurance preferred.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Review and process patient account records and transactions.
• Verify insurance benefits and billing information by phone or terminal.
• Follow up with payers for payment post billing and resolution of issues.
• Maintain accurate demographics and documentation in records.
• Assist with archiving discharged files and data entry as needed.
• Support receptionist duties as backup when required.
