Job summary

Women’s Care is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first face and voice of the practice in St. Augustine, FL. You will greet patients, collect demographics, confirm insurance, and set up appointments while maintaining a courteous, HIPAA-compliant environment.

You will handle registrations, billing inquiries, and coordinate with providers to ensure a smooth patient experience from check-in to check-out.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional customer service experience and a true desire to help others while delivering a positive patient experience.
• Strong organizational skills required.
• Must have a warm, welcoming, professional demeanor.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Deadline-driven and detail-oriented.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously.
• Collect demographics and update patient profiles.
• Collect payments and assist billing while meeting time of service goals.
• Scan insurance cards, IDs, and other pertinent information into the EMR (HIPAA compliance).
• Set up payment plans per policy when needed.
• Answer a high volume of calls and patient emails promptly.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and registration prior to visits.
• Maintain lobby cleanliness and provide a welcoming environment.
