Job summary

Women’s Care is seeking a Patient Access Representative in Jacksonville, FL. This role is the first contact for patients, handling registration, scheduling, and billing inquiries with a focus on accuracy and empathy.

You will greet patients, verify demographics, collect payments when needed, and ensure HIPAA compliance while coordinating with the clinic team for a smooth patient experience.

• High proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office suite; quick learner of EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors promptly with a friendly, courteous manner.
• Collect demographics, update profiles, and verify information for scheduling and billing.
• Explain payment options and assist with billing questions per policies.
• Scan insurance cards/IDs into EMR and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments and verify insurance eligibility.
