Job summary

You will verify demographics, collect out-of-pocket responsibilities, and coordinate with departments to maximize reimbursement while ensuring a positive patient experience.

The role requires attention to detail, knowledge of insurance plans, and professional interaction with patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and professional communication.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Fluency in English (and Spanish in certain markets, if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with EMTALA, DNV, HIPAA and hospital regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build strong patient relationships.
• Identify and properly identify patients, ensuring accurate triage on arrival.
• Obtain signatures on forms and consents for patient accounts.
• Enter complete demographic data and verify insurance benefits for accurate billing.
