Job summary

• Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-certifications as warranted.
• Assign correct medical record number in MPI and notify supervisor of issues.
• Explain policies and collect patient payments per JHS policies.
• Obtain signatures and scan documents timely for records.
• Assist patients with appointment scheduling and care navigation.
• Maintain accuracy and productivity according to unit standards.
