Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher-level degree may satisfy this requirement.
• Prefer completion of an accredited medical administrative assisting program.
• Experience in a medical office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient check-in and check-out procedures accurately.
• Processes financial information and provides patient billing details.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant handling of protected health information.
• Schedules patient appointments and collects demographic/clinical data.
• Orders and maintains clinical and office supplies; supports team tasks.
