Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
• Checks in patients and verifies insurance information in the patient accounting system.
• Posts all actions and maintains permanent record of patient accounts; coordinates billing and collections as needed.
• Answers questions regarding patient accounts and testing; assists with outpatient coding and error resolution.
