Job summary

This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and knowledge of insurance requirements; prior Capital Health experience is preferred. 40-hour work week with comprehensive benefits. On-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of Health Access Rep experience at Capital Health required.
• One year of healthcare experience or one year customer service experience with medical terminology and basic computer skills required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; proficiency with insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and customers with registration and insurance verification.
• Follow payer requirements for authorization and precertification.
• Collect and verify demographics, insurance information and signatures.
• Coordinate with departments to obtain referrals and authorizations.
