Job summary

ScionHealth is seeking a Registration Integrity Specialist to ensure accurate patient data and safe registration in an acute care setting. You will pre-register, verify demographics and insurance, and provide cost estimates and basic financial counseling to patients.

You will also enter and review orders for safety and accuracy, collaborate with revenue cycle teams, and support registration across hospital points of care.

Qualifications

• Understand hospital registration processes and insurance requirements.
• Ability to interpret insurance explanations of benefits (EOBs).
• Experience with data entry and accuracy in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform real-time registration and pre-registration for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Verify and update patient demographics, insurance, and financial data.
• Create and deliver accurate cost estimates and basic financial counseling.
• Enter and review physician orders to ensure alignment with documentation and patient safety.
• Prepare registration materials and consents for front-end staff.
• Provide registration backup support in clinical areas as needed.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle departments to ensure smooth patient encounters.
• Use registration/order entry systems efficiently (RapidFiler, Order Entry Desktop).
• Ensure compliance with hospital registration policies and documentation requirements.
