Job summary

ScionHealth is seeking a Registration Integrity Specialist to ensure patient safety and accurate administrative data in our acute care environment. You will handle pre-registration, order entry, cost estimation, and initial financial counseling while coordinating with clinical teams to support smooth registration.

You will verify demographics and insurance data, correct order errors, and collaborate with Revenue Cycle departments to ensure timely, accurate patient encounters across registration

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in customer service or revenue cycle operations (registration, scheduling, or patient accounting).
• Experience with Change Healthcare products preferred.
• Able to interpret insurance explanations of benefits (EOBs).
• Proficient data entry and keyboarding.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform real-time registration and pre-registration for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Verify and update patient demographic, insurance, and financial information.
• Create and deliver accurate cost estimates and provide basic financial counseling.
• Enter, review, and correct physician orders to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Prepare registration and consent documents for front-end staff, including cost estimates.
• Provide registration backup support in clinical areas as needed.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle departments to ensure smooth patient encounters.
• Utilize RapidFiler and Order Entry Desktop systems.
• Ensure compliance with hospital registration policies and documentation requirements.
