Job summary

Trinity Health’s Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington is seeking a Patient Registration Rep for a part-time weekend shift. You will perform outpatient and inpatient registration, verify insurance, and provide excellent patient-focused service.

Prior experience in hospital admissions and familiarity with EPIC EMR are preferred. A high school diploma is required, with certification in HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA encouraged within the first year.

Qualifications

• High School graduate required.
• At least 1 year of hospital admissions, business office or physician's office experience.
• Knowledge of EPIC EMR is required or highly preferred.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Medical Terminology knowledge is required.
• HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient and inpatient registration functions.
• Provide general information to hospital users, patients, and families.
• Ensure patients meet financial requirements and maximize patient flow.
• Deliver excellent patient-focused customer service.
