Summary:
The Emergency Department Patient Access Associate is responsible for accurately identifying patients and conducting detailed registration interviews. This includes capturing demographic, insurance, and contact information in a high-volume, 24/7 Emergency Department. Patient Access Associates are exposed to varying levels of acuity, disease, and sensitive patient and visitor situations impacting populations of all ages and backgrounds.
