Responsibilities

• Interview patients for all pertinent account information and verify insurance coverage.
• Assist the Admission Coordinator with verifying insurance, obtaining insurance auth, coordination and communicating admissions.
• Ensure all necessary information is obtained for payment and work with Clinical Liaisons to process referrals.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain precertification/authorization as necessary.
• Collect co-pays and other funds from patients based upon established criteria.
• Check and stock supplies as needed; serve as back-up for other areas.
