Sagora Senior Living’s Rio Terra community in New Braunfels, TX seeks a Memory Care Coordinator to oversee Pathways programming for residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia, ensuring safety, quality care, and policy adherence.

You will collaborate with families and the Executive Director to tailor activities, manage calendars and events, and support a team focused on resident well-being and dignity.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred in gerontological studies or recreation programs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact empathetically with residents and families.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends for events.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Memory Care (Pathways) programming and ensure safety and security of residents.
• Facilitate memory care activities tailored to residents with Alzheimer’s/dementia.
• Plan daily, weekly, and monthly calendars, newsletters, and family events.
• Coordinate resident care with families, Executive Director, and care teams.
• Manage a volunteer program in accordance with policy.
• Operate within budget and act as Manager on Duty as assigned.
• Contribute to community outreach and marketing with the team.

Memory Care Coordinator (Pathways Coordinator)The Memory Care Coordinator manages the overall operations of the community Memory Care program in accordance with resident needs, government regulations, and Sagora Senior Living policies and procedures.
