Sagora Senior Living seeks a dedicated Memory Care Coordinator to lead the Pathways program at Laurel Glen in Stephenville. The role focuses on overseeing Pathways activities, ensuring resident safety, and coordinating with families and leadership to tailor memory care services.

The position requires a 4-year degree in gerontology or recreation and a driver’s license, with opportunities for growth within Sagora’s supportive team.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree with emphasis in gerontological studies/recreation programs preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License where necessary.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Memory Care (Pathways) programming.
• Maintain Memory Care resident safety and security.
• Facilitate programming to meet needs of residents with Alzheimer’s/dementia.
• Plan and organize daily events and large/small group activities.
• Maintain calendars, newsletters, family functions, and outreach.
• Coordinate and communicate resident care needs with families and the Executive Director.
• Coordinate a volunteer program for resident benefit.
• Document community history with photographs/scrapbooks.
• Operate program within budget.
• Act as MOD and support marketing/management efforts.
