Job summary

Qualifications

• Must meet CLIA high-complexity testing personnel requirements.
• Education must include 60 semester hours (or equivalent) with specific course work in chemistry/biology/medical lab tech.
• Laboratory training from ABHES/CAHEA-approved program or 3 months training in each high-complexity specialty.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen dictation for gross descriptions.
• Accession and process primary specimens with accuracy and efficiency.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients with excellent customer service.
• Troubleshoot specimen and service-related issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee and dispatch couriers to maintain timely specimen transport.
• Prepare reagents according to established protocols.
• Conduct precise data entry to support lab documentation and reporting.
