Fairview Health Services seeks a Medical Director to oversee clinical and/or anatomic pathology laboratories, directing day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives in a large health system.

The role leads pathologists, manages budgets, drives quality, and partners across services to improve patient outcomes and efficiency. Requires Minnesota licensure and board certification in pathology.

Formación

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution per CLIA ’88.
• Licensed physician in Minnesota.
• Board certification in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology; ABP or AOOP.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical practice demonstrating quality, variation, and patient experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide medical direction for AP and/or CP labs in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead and develop pathology care teams and support organizational goals.
• Oversee provider budget, productivity, and overall performance.
• Participate in strategy development, vendor selection, and test validation.
