Responsibilities

• Process test requests with specimens and enter orders.
• Accession specimens with correct identifications.
• Describe gross anatomical features and prepare tissues for processing.
• Organize and maintain frozen and FFPE specimens.
• Prepare gross tissue for frozen sections or touch preps.
• Oversee slide handling and refer specimens to external labs.
• Maintain equipment and ensure lab safety and compliance.
