Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant lab sciences.
• Alternate pathway with 60 semester hours + accredited clinical training OR 3 months specialty training.

Responsibilities

• Log information into LIS and required logs.
• Collect marked areas for molecular analysis.
• Maintain a clean workstation.
• Prioritize and triage specimens per procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Perform QA/QC tests and document.
• Report quality concerns to supervisor.
• Operate, troubleshoot and maintain microdissection equipment.
• Communicate lab problems to management.
• Foster a collaborative work environment.
