Job summary

Caris Life Sciences is seeking a Pathologist Associate to support Pathology operations and perform macrodissection and microdissection. The role requires solid LIS knowledge and a strong foundation in laboratory sciences.

The candidate will log data, maintain records, and ensure quality control while protecting patient confidentiality. This position may involve travel and occasional after-hours work. A CLIA-certified environment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical/biological/clinical or medical laboratory science, or medical technology, with ABHES/CAAHEP training where applicable.
• 60 semester hours with chemistry/biology coursework or 3 months lab training in high complexity testing.
• Clinical laboratory training program approved or accredited by ABHES/CAAHEP.

Responsibilities

• Support Pathology and Pathology Operations in daily tasks.
• Perform macrodissection and microdissection as required.
• Log information into LIS and other logs.
• Maintain clean workstation and handle specimens per SOPs.
• Perform QC/QA tests and document results.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and company information.
• Communicate issues to supervisor and management.
