Trinity Health in New York is seeking a part-time Pathologist’s Assistant to support grossing, dissection, and preparation of specimens for Pathologist review. Under supervision, you will assist with tissue selection for special studies and the processing of frozen sections.

You will participate in limited postmortem neonatal autopsies, maintain familiarity with HIS/QA, communicate with clinicians, and ensure accurate documentation and SOP adherence.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in health science, Pathologists’ Assistant.
• Current NYS license as Pathologist’s Assistant or eligible to obtain.
• ASCP certification.

Responsabilidades

• Performs general Pathologist’s Assistant duties with supervision.
• Assist with tissue selection for special studies and processing of frozen sections.
• Perform limited postmortem neonatal autopsies under supervision.
• Maintain familiarity with pathology hospital information systems and QA processes.
• Support documentation, communication with clinicians, and adherence to SOPs.
