Qualifications

• Masters in Pathologist's Assistant program (NAACLS accredited) or equivalent.
• AAPA certification eligibility required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Performs gross examination, description, and sectioning of surgical specimens.
• Assists with dissection and gross description of autopsies.
• Maintains photographic equipment and photographs specimens.
• Accessioning specimens using computer systems.
• Assists with preparation of frozen sections.
• Maintains confidentiality and professional conduct.
